WHAT WE DO
- We study diffusion processes and high temperature behavior of solids by 14.411-keV emission Mössbauer spectroscopy of 57Fe.
- We apply emission spectroscopy to single crystals of insulators and semiconductors.
- We are looking for new methods enabling to see diffusion on the microscopic scale in systems which do not contain Mössbauer isotope. Rayleigh scattering of synchrotron radiation (SR) is a promising method.
- Studies of the recoilless fraction anisotropy are performed particularly in the anharmonic regions applying various techniques like Rayleigh scattering of the Mössbauer radiation (RSMR) and inelastic resonant scattering of SR.
For more information, see recent publications. All questions concerning Mössbauer spectroscopy and its applications to diffusion/relaxation studies as well as lattice dynamics and synchrotron radiation are encouraged and should be addressed to Professor Krzysztof Ruebenbauer.
