About the Faculty

The Faculty of Humanities is the oldest basic organizational element of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. The pillars of the faculty’s strategy are the education and training of the students. The development of academic staff, national and international cooperation with strong research centres, applications for grants and research funding, especially for young researchers, as well as raising the quality of the scientific journals of the Faculty are particularly important. We care about the internationalization of the educational process, broadening the educational offer and making it more attractive. Collaboration with external stakeholders, economic and educational institutions, museums, schools and the local community is an important part of this process. Students receive great support from the competent staff, and are provided with a rich educational offer that includes the opportunity to participate in research works and study trips.
